| Eighth Grade Girl Launches
First Shopping Website
For Teen Girls ---GirlsLikeStuff.com! TEEN GIRLS JUST WANT TO SHOP! Jasmine loves to shop, but she doesn’t have time. The 8th grader from Austin, Texas is too busy to shop the traditional way. She plays on her school’s volleyball and basketball teams, and runs track. She’s also co-president of the National Junior Honor Society. When she’s not at school, a meeting, or practice, she’s studying or hanging with her family. According to Jasmine, when she asks to go to the mall, “My mom usually tells me about some chore I forgot to do. She doesn’t like to go to the mall and browse. She thinks it’s a waste of time to go in and out of stores looking for stuff. But, I’m a kid --- I LOVE to browse and shop! That’s all my friends and I talk about.” This past summer when Jasmine was trying to get her back-to-school shopping done, she met the same mall resistance from her dad. When she told him she needed to go to the mall to see what she should be buying for the school year, he told her to go online or call one of her friends for advice ---and thus the idea for GirlsLikeStuff.com was born from the mind of an 8th grade entrepreneur! Jasmine decided it would be fun if she and her friends could shop and browse stores from all over the world without ever leaving their homes. GirlsLikeStuff.com is an online shopping community for teenage girls. They can shop anywhere they want on the web with their personal GirlsLikeStuff.com Shopping Wizard. After joining GirlsLikeStuff.com and adding the GirlsLikeStuff.com Shopping Wizard to their profile, the GirlsLikeStuff.com Shopping Wizard goes anywhere the girls shop online. bring a high-quality picture, price and description of any item they love

Then, they can organize all their “stuff” into different lists
like, Gotta Have It, My Birthday Wish List and Prom Dresses. The girls
can create an unlimited number of personalized lists. They can share their
lists with friends, rate items in each other’s lists or just keep
